Artist: Olga Symonenko
Pastel, framed. Unframed size 8” x 10”
Artist statement about this piece:
This painting was inspired by my travels to North Carolina, where I visited a peaceful country house with an old apple tree in the yard. I was moved by the sight of ripe apples falling softly to the ground, glowing in the warm autumn light. Their rich reds contrasted beautifully with the earth and grass, creating a natural harmony. Each apple, with its unique imperfections, reflected the cycle of life, while light and shadow transformed the scene into quiet poetry.
