This pastel painting was inspired by peppers I brought home from the farmer’s market. Their brilliant reds, yellows, and oranges immediately caught my eye, full of warmth and energy. Arranged in a bowl, they became a lively subject, glowing under the light. I was fascinated by their glossy textures, varied shapes, and how the colors danced together in harmony.
