This is a plein air piece I created during an artist in residence at Centrum in Port Townsend, WA. On my first morning there, I caught a glimpse of the exposed cliffside from my cottage. Later on, I started walking towards the view until I ended up on the bluff just across to paint the scene overlooking the Salish Sea
