Artist: Shweta Agrawal
Pen drawing, Framed. Size 12” x 16”
Artist statement about this piece:
This drawing captures the harmony between permanence and change. The towering tree, rendered in intricate pen lines, symbolizes memory and endurance, standing as a quiet witness to life. Beneath its branches, three children sit in playful companionship, embodying innocence and fleeting youth. Autumn leaves, the only touch of color, drift gently through the scene, evoking the beauty of impermanence and the passage of time. My intention was to create a work that feels both nostalgic and reflective, reminding viewers that while seasons and moments inevitably shift, their essence lingers—etched in memory like the lines of the tree itself.
